Process of Research

What draws you into an advertisement? What grabs your attention first? In chapter 4 of Envision, the main subject of topic is how to plan and propose research arguments. One way to get started on the research is to pick a text that interests or moves you. People look at things differently, so your perspective is probably different than the person's next to you. The next process is to keep a research log. A log helps organize your ideas, collect your materials. chart your progress, and assemble the different pieces of your research.
Searching for the perfect topic could be difficult for some. So brainstorming as much as possible is a smart option. Look inward, outward, use creative visualization, and use the material of the moment. Ask frequent questions then develop a hypothesis (working thesis that makes an argumentative claim that you'll attempt to prove.) Next is the research proposal. To include in the draft, you must have the following elements: Background, Methods, Sources, Timeline, and Significance. Now that you have the research process down, it's time to write that paper!
