Who says cheerleaders aren't athletes too? #learnthefacts

Athletes are Cheerleaders, too is the article that I chose to analyze for my rhetorical analysis paper. I chose this topic, because this is an arguement that comes up a lot and it is something that I am interested in. I am a cheerleader and I wanted to read an article that fought both sides of the arguement, so I could hear where they were coming from. After reading this article, I found that people think competition cheerleading is a sport, but sideline cheerleading is not. Competitive cheerleading follows the athletic guidelines, so Wayne Drehs, the author of this article, states these valid points.
