Prevention and Recovery

"Hands" is an advertisement from the Casa Do Menor organization that was founded by Father Renato Chiera in Brazil. This ad argues the way kids should be treated. It focuses on prevention of rape, molestation, abuse, prostitution, and being threatened, etc. But it also focuses on helping the children who have been through this type of trouble get through it. This non-profit organization is mainly available for children and adolescents and the ad shows this. To prove this, the tag line on the advertisement says, "Certain things hang on forever. Set the kids free from abuse and violence." I'm interested in this because I find the care of children very important and I believe that whatever happens to you as a child does stick with you when you get older; it tends to make you who you are. I know people who have had rough childhoods and it has stuck with them and some have turned out to have even worse futures. Hopefully, everyone in their right mind is against child abuse and the wrongs against children, because this is what this article is fighting for.
