JOIN, or DIE

The article I chose to analyze was the "JOIN, or DIE" cartoon by Benjamin Franklin, a founding father of the United States. It was published on May 9, 1754 and was in circulation up to and through the Revolutionary War. The cartoon argues that Americans need to band together or they will be defeated. I chose this cartoon because of its historical significance and I find it a creative way to get his point across.
