Control Your Drinking and Partying #ShotsonShots

Our collaborative project is about getting college students to understand how much of an impact drinking has on their life. We want to get the message across to them that they need to stop or slow down on their drinking habits, because all of the consequences of drinking will end badly. One of the statistics we found is that one out of every four college students drinks alcohol. This, along with other statistics in our video, will hopefully influence students to cut back on drinking. We will be showing a slide show of pictures, statistics, and a video to our class to get the message across.

  1. The facts in your presentation are solid. I'm interested to see how well the slides are integrated into the actual video, because it would be easy to make the video very disjointed if you're using slides and video you shot yourself.

  4. This sounds interesting... I'm interested to see how it all goes together. Make sure that it doesn't get too choppy though, because the slides might make it look like it.

  7. Hard to get a grasp on the project because there wasn't much of a visual aid. But, the concept was very good and noble. Good concept idea.

  8. I like the argument, but I wish you guys had an example of what you are going to create. You guys have great facts though!

  9. My only concern was when you guys were reading your statistics there was no time frame. So i was sitting there thinking, all all these numbers daily, hourly, or yearly?

  10. You presented a good argument and used facts and statistics that appear to be valid. It would have been nice to see some kind of visual, but based on you description of your video it seems that it will turn out good.

  11. The video was well thought out and seems like a good idea!! There are many clips about college drinking so I guess my only advice would be to make it your own!!
