We made a video using Jon's argument topic. Jahwan is used as a super hero type character to "tackle"video game addiction. We use slides to present our facts and create our argument while we use comedy to convey the message to our target audience, which is college age students.
I like the idea of incorporating statistics in the presentation that are easy to digest (i.e. polls), so don't get rid of that aspect. The concept is entertaining too and that always helps.
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed the snippets from the the film that you guys made. It looks like it will be very funny!
ReplyDeleteI feel like you all have a good idea what is going on. The video is well done and looks fun to watch. You seem to have good facts over the topic.
ReplyDeleteJust make sure your video is up and running by the time we you have to present. And make sure you can find it. Haha. But other than that, I like your idea.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the concept of the video, it is very funny and catches the viewers attention while still educating the viewer about video game addiction. Good choice on music.
ReplyDeleteI really like your idea and the topic for your video. You guys seemed to have a lot of knowledge and experience with creating videos. Overall, I didn't feel like there were any problems.
ReplyDeleteThe concept of your video was done well and helps get your message to your target audience.
ReplyDeleteThe idea is very creative and will grab the audience's attention and keep them enticed in the video. Be careful with the facts though because some seemed very long and if the facts are to long viewers may become distracted by the video and not even get the purpose or point of the video.
ReplyDeleteThe video is enjoyable, funny, and gets the point across about what you are trying to tell us. When the statistics come up on the screen, is a group member going to read them aloud or are we just going to read them ourselves while music is playing? Each group member reading a statistic may be a good way to incorporate the whole group in presenting the project.
ReplyDeleteThe concept of your video sounds really good so far. It seems very informational and has a very clear message.
ReplyDeleteI like the concept of having your video be a sort of comic relief from the seriousness of video game addiction; it was a very entertaining video. You guys presented some good statistics, especially that 12 million people are addicted. My only criticism, based on today, would be prepared to play the video.
ReplyDeleteI thought this presentation for the peer edit was good. The overall product looks promising and funny, which is a great attention grabber for the viewers. I understand the point and the message with no struggles. The only question I have is where is the rest of the group? It seems like besides the two members in the actual video, no one else is included in the presentation. I would say just make sure everyone is getting enough credit for the parts they do that aren't seen!
ReplyDeleteYour video looks like it will relay the message to the audience very well.
ReplyDeleteFrom what we were able to see, the video looked very entertaining!! You will be able to get your information across very well...I can't wait to see more!!!
ReplyDeleteI feel like this argument was well organized, and planed out. I feel like your group worked well together, and had a fun time working on the project. The facts were easy to understand, and so was the video. The only thing I would maybe change is to make sure it really does make people stop wanting to play video games as much. Over all it is a great start.
