organizing and writing research arguments i got excited while reading this because i ran into bubble web which i use a lot already when writing papers. I can say this is a great way of prewriting through visual means. You can just put ideas down this is a way to get your self going from scratch.
The chapter talks about learning outline strategies. An outline is an extremely useful method of arranging ideas and expediting the drafting process.
I knew what a a movie trailer was but the way the chapter explained it i have a new perspective. in trailer they provide a brief outline of the key scenes , the main conflict and the crucial characters. this way they get you to say i gotta go see that but the parts you seen in trailer be the most action-ed parts so u feel u wasted your money. I can refer to this like recruiting high school coaches send a player highlight tape to college coach but he only sends all the good plays. The college coach now offers him a scholarship to the school and figures out he isn't as good as his highlight tape projected.
